    【內容簡介】

      查理斯·夏恩(克里夫·歐文 飾)是一位廣告公司高級主管，家住芝加哥城外的他每天都固定搭乘早上8點43分的火車趕去上班。一個非常普通的日子他錯過了班次，結果他第一次遇到了露辛達·哈里絲(詹妮弗·安妮斯頓 飾)，于是他的平靜的生活也隨之被永遠改變了。

    　　露辛達是一位充滿魅力的女性，像早餐前一粒誘人的葡萄，盡管兩個人都已婚并擁有幸福穩定的家庭，但他們卻都為對方難以捉摸的吸引力而著迷，約會不由自主地開始，在工作間歇，越軌的快感猶如品嘗一種新鮮刺激的雞尾酒。

    　　這段不道德的感情很快沖破束縛，沉迷的快感引領著兩個來到賓館房間里，就在這時一陣憤怒的敲門聲將一切破壞，還沒等他們完全清醒過來，一位叫做拉羅克(文森特·卡索 飾)的陌生人闖了進來，黑洞洞的槍口指向這對越軌的男女。

    這部性感迷人，充滿心理恐懼的影片改編自詹姆斯?史格(James Seigel)2003年最暢銷的懸疑小說。這部西區柯克式的小說中充滿了懸念與轉折，緊張的氣氛壓抑又充滿戲劇張力，它有些類似與《西北偏北》，講述的是一個普通人被放在特殊位置的故事，但影片更注重娛樂性，而并非深層地探討倫理問題?？死锓?歐文在影片里展現的不是復雜的內心情感，而是剛猛的打斗與個人英雄主義?？死锓?歐文與詹妮弗?安妮斯頓的組合的確新鮮，也許由于過于瑣碎的《老友記》給觀眾留下的印象太深，使得很多人無法將安妮斯頓與性感或者是一夜情對象聯系在一起，但這個組合的確是夠實用，對觀眾來說他們有演技，對制片人來說他們不缺的是票房吸引力。
